Model 1219 Vertical Form, Fill and Seal Machine

Description

The Model 1219 is an economical, high speed, versatile and easy to use bagging system, perfect for packaging all kinds of small parts, dry goods, processed foods, etc. It is a fully automated system with adjustable dwell time and built-in cycle and batch counters. The touch-screen control panel provides easy operator use, with built-in alarm and warnings displayed for troubleshooting and optimum safety.

The rotary style reciprocating sealing head enables highspeed runs. Utilizing polypropylene flat film the Model 1219 can produce up to 60 bags per minute. The dual tube configuration and automated feeding can yield up to 120 bags per minute.


 

Machine Specifications:

  • Capable of producing up to 60 packages per minute
  • The Model 1219 has a rotary driven sealing head that advances the material for bag length
  • The sealing head does the end seals and length cutoff simultaneously
  • This machine uses one roll of heat sealable flat stock material
  • The bag width is fixed based on the particular forming collar and material web width
  • The material has a dancer and brake that controls material tension and an encoder that regulates package length
  • An optional photoelectric eye can be used for print registered material
  • Machine operation and setup are done thru the touch screen controller
  • This allows the operator to make adjustments quickly and easily.
  • The system is available in 6″ and 10″ wide models
  • The 1219-6 can make a bag from 1.5″ to 6″ wide and up to 8″ long
  • The 1219-10 can make a bag from 1.5″ to 10″ wide and up to 12″ long
  • A dual forming tube up to 4″ wide can be used yielding 120 bags per minute on the 1219-10
  • It uses 110 V.A.C. and 80 PSI
  • It features a built-in batch counter

Machine options include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Photo electric eye for print registered material
  • Various weigh, count and escapement systems can be integrated to automatically supply the system with product
  • Perforators for easy open packages
